Everywhere you look, you see beautiful architectural buildings, both sacred and secular. There are definitely more of the former here. An interesting feature are the gas-powered lanterns, which are lit and extinguished manually by one lighthouse keeper, and I might add that there are quite a few of them.

There are many churches on the island. Every evening the lantern man comes to light the 102 lanterns with his butane rod. It starts at the cathedral. There is an official table with the times. The illuminated buildings are particularly beautiful to look at in the dark.
