The Schnaggenkreuz with the mosaic fountain (drinking water dispenser on the pool) and the moor Malvesink is a crossroads of several hiking trails and a nice place to stay. End of May to end of June orchids bloom in the bog.
According to a legend (see the highlight "story book" in the immediate vicinity on the way to the Great Moor pond) stood here a farm diligent peasant. After her departure, the son, who was quite spoiled, inherited the property. As punishment for his sinful life the farm sank in the bog, which is why people called the place "Moorversink" (ancient Malvesink).
