Whether railway, hiking or nature lover - the Hetzdorfer viaduct is a unique experience for everyone. The viaduct is a listed former railway bridge of the railway line Dresden-Werdau. The bridge was taken out of service in 1992. It can be crossed on foot today.
The viaduct is 43 meters high and 328 meters long. He has four big and thirteen little bows. The bridge describes an arch with a radius of 572 meters. Blue-gray gneiss, granite and Pirna sandstone were used as building materials.
Today, the bridge is a highlight of the long distance footpath Baltic Sea Saale dams. It offers an unforgettable view over the Flöhatal. If you still want to let your eyes wander over the valley, you should climb the elevated bastion a few hundred meters away.

Beautiful destination. In fine weather, of course, a little more activity, but not without reason!
