In July 1983, the foundation stone for today's fallow deer enclosure was laid at the Mondscheinmühle in Breitenau.In the following years, it was expanded from approximately 4 hectares to 30 hectares.In 1984, the enclosure was stocked with 10 animals. Depending on the enclosure size, the number has increased to 150 female breeding animals with offspring and 16 male breeding animals.Source: agrozuchtfarm.de
