Ribbeck Castle

Pretty little village. There are several small cafes with beer gardens. The main attractions are of course the pear tree by the church and the castle.

The castle can be rented for events, or you just have the opportunity to stop in the (pear-specialty) restaurant. In the garden are various pear trees, each donated by one of the federal states.

The former manor of the von Ribbeck family has not lost any of its charisma to this day. You can find the pear everywhere. Whether in the Ribbeck Castle with its museum as well as its exclusive kitchen and the “German Pear Garden”, the church at the entrance of which you can find the stump of the said pear tree or the wash house with its unique cake creations - history is lived around the village center.
