Cycling on the Seseke

On the Seseke a lot has changed in the last few years. A new path on the water testifies to this change. From Bönen to Lünen, the LIPPEVERBAND has created the foot and cycle path Seseke-Weg, which invites you to explore the attractive landscape around and along the river.

As a cyclist you can go on a themed cycle path. As an approximately 25-kilometer-long regional cycle path, the Seseke-Weg runs from Bönen-Flierich, not far from the headwaters, to the mouth in Lünen, mostly in the immediate vicinity of the water. It is continuously developed, very well signposted and offers places to rest or information points on specific places, on history or on ecological topics.
They make the trip extremely varied and entertaining; also good for children to ride.

The path goes from Lünen (Horstmarer See) to about to Flierich.
