In the "Brombeerschenke" in the Westerwald, located alone above Leutesdorf, one of the local specialties on offer is "Rebellenblut". This is a wine made from blackberries. It is also available in the foothills (between Bonn and Cologne), but this is where it originated. The two producers fought in court over the right to the name, but both were allowed to keep the name.
