    On May 23, 2025, four Stolpersteine (stumbling stones) were laid here in memory of the Weinand siblings. The VVN (Association of Victims of the Nazi Regime) writes:

    "The Stolpersteine for the Weinand siblings, who spent their childhood and youth in this house, are intended to commemorate them. They were courageous and consistent opponents of Hitler who resisted in different places and in different ways, risking everything: their existence, their freedom, and their lives. Through solidarity and a great deal of luck, they survived as Jehovah's Witnesses, as fighters in the International Brigades in the Spanish Civil War against Franco, and in the French Resistance. The suffering they endured in Spanish and French camps, in German prisons and concentration camps is unimaginable. The Weinand siblings are among those who, during the worst period of fascist terror, represented the other Germany, the humanist Germany."
