The Green Pot is located at the foot of the slope east of the outskirts of Grösdorf. The source, which itself is the starting point for several hiking trails, can be reached not only from Grösdorf but also via a forest path (the so-called Mühlweg), which leads from Kipfenberg above the glassworks to the Green Pot in fifteen minutes.
