The Jägersee is a real insider tip for swimming in nature. Because it is so beautifully hidden and surrounded by forest and nature, you will find here only bathers who come by bike or on foot - so generally far fewer people than at other popular lakes in the region. Around the lake you will find beautiful bays where you can spread your towel, relax and hop in the clean waters of the lake.

Beautiful lake with small bays. Next to it a biotope with boards of "domestic birds".

The Jägerseen are located in the middle of a wonderful landscape between the villages Röthenbach near St. Wolfgang and Feucht. Unfortunately, there are no parking spaces and sanitary facilities available. The lakes can only be reached on foot or by bike. The Jägerseen were once a sand mining area. By the market Wendelstein a container for the waste of the bathers was set up. Unfortunately, it is still very common to heavy pollution of the bathing places. The Jägersee is a former digger pond. He is often visited by the people of the area for swimming in the warm summer months. An admission as EU bathing place is planned for the year 2009 for these reasons.

Nicer lake in the forest. Unfortunately, many throw away their garbage even though a container is ready.

Coming from Feucht, keep to the left of the lake. Very nice single trail. Please pay attention to walkers.

Generous, light and contemplative are Jägersee and Krugsweiher here in the countryside surrounded by narrow gravel paths and bridges :-)
I cannot recommend the path to the left of the Krugsweiher: Lots of thick tree trunks across.
Rather stay on the gravel path and drive past the Krugsweiher on the right.

Bathing lake in the middle of the forest, always only very small bank accesses at least on one side, was very well visited today, a lot of chatter at least when the ground is still damp, like today.
