The Danube Temple (Donautempel) is a romantic and historic structure that stands at the confluence of the Danube source with the Brigach river. This is where the Danube river officially begins – a magical moment that is of great importance not only geographically, but also symbolically!
Fun Fact:
Although the Brigach, at 40 km long, is shorter than the Danube source (which is only about 1.5 km long), it carries more water – which is why this point is considered the official source of the Danube.
