  • Bad Windsheim has a picturesque old town with many narrow streets offering plenty to explore. Around the market square, one highlight follows another. For example, the town church of St. Kilian, first mentioned in documents in 1289. A little further out, but incredibly worth a visit, is the Franconian Open-Air Museum, where over 100 largely authentically restored houses take you through 700 years of Franconian history.
