Our solar system stretches over a four-kilometer path between the Alzenau castle car park and the Michelbach train station - shown on a scale of one to two million.
The Alzenau planetary path was created in 2009 by the astronomy working group of the Spessart-Gymnasium under the direction of study director Friedrich W. Volck (in the middle of the picture). However, many panels have been destroyed by vandalism in recent years. Mr. Volck took this as an opportunity to supplement and renew the boards again with the SGA-Astronomie-AG. Lovis Hardeweg from Geiselbach (right in the picture) was particularly committed to the work and wants to take care of the planet path in the future as well.
