The Chapel of San José in Toledo is a 16th-century architectural gem, located at 5 Núñez de Arce Street, very close to the Cathedral and the Rojas Theater.
Construction: Begun in 1588 by the architect Nicolás de Vergara the Younger.
Style: Renaissance with Herrerian influences. Its façade features classical Greco-Roman forms, with attached columns, an entrance arch, and a pediment with three balls as acroteria.
