This is a gloriously remote loch beneath Sgùrr Bàn in the breathless wilderness of the Fisherfield Forest. The Cape Wrath Trail passes the loch on the way to Shenavall. The Allt Cul Doireachain crossing before the loch can be tricky when in spate. Try to cross as high as possible when this is the case and exercise sound judgement.
