A row of whitewashed houses lining the shores of Loch Broom - Ullapool has all the romantic charm of a fishing port but offers so much more. From Ullapool to Stornoway, Isle of Lewis. Perfect. We were about 10 minutes late, but had called ahead to see if the ferry was waiting for us. The ferry was waiting for us. We arrived at the terminal and had to fill out a form: last name, first name, date of birth, gender, and whether we were over 16. We filled it out, went to the ferry, handed it in, and off we went. There were 45 of us plus the driver and vehicle! It was really nice.
