There has recently been a bistro up at the castle, which invites you to stop in summer with a really nice terrace with a view of Bad Hönningen and Rheinbrohl and the Rhine - the short, crisp asphalt climb is definitely worthwhile. Now, during lockdown times, hot drinks and waffles are offered "to go" up there - maybe not uninteresting for the tough ones who have not yet mothballed their bike in the basement. The offer is only valid on weekends
