Woods Creek Trail is a roughly 5 mile east-west connection between Paradise Valley Trail and the John Muir Trail. It offers some great vistas down the valley, but runs mostly in the protective shade of tall pine forests covering the overall gentle terrain. There are abundant camp spots and water sources all along, the most popular sites being at the junctions on both ends.
