The Himmerlandstien railway embankment cycle and hiking trail, along the trackbed of the former Himmerlandsbanerne (Himmerland Railway), passes through the small village of Hornum. The station building is easily recognizable as such and is likely used as a museum. At the level of the former station site, there is a long park with a playground, seating, and rest areas.
