A tough climb. I thought that, given that it is part of the E4 and therefore a long-distance hiking trail, it would be better secured and generally less dangerous. Not that it is not doable, but equipped for a multi-day tour with a lot of hiking gear, it was a bit difficult and risky. The route and the view are definitely recommended, but only with light luggage.

Hiking

The path goes through a forest to the Brunnenkopfhütte. From there you have a fantastic view. From the Brunnenkopfhütte a narrow path leads up to the Klammspitze. Here a sign indicates "Alpine experience, surefootedness and a head for heights required".
