Built in 1875 in the Neo-Gothic style, this church is the work of Joseph Bigot, the diocesan architect who was also responsible for the construction of the towers of Saint-Corentin Cathedral in Quimper. The size of the building reflects the population growth during the canning era. At its consecration in 1877, the tower was still unfinished. This was not completed until 1939 under the famous communist mayor Daniel Le Flanchec.
