The hotel takes its name from the previous owner, who formerly owned the Hôtel des Princes on the Zeedijk (once the villas "Les Obelias" and "Les Edelweiss") where the royal princes regularly stayed.
Surprising! It is said that in the basement of this hotel, there are still reminders of the Second World War: "cells" where those arrested by the Germans were temporarily locked up, as well as a room with a very thick wall where ammunition was stored.
