Hiking
The local park consists of landscape types and elements from the Kempen and Meierij with the plants that naturally belong there. The Heempark was constructed in 1983 by a volunteer working group in collaboration with the municipality of Eindhoven. It is named after a campaigner for nature and the environment. There is regularly something to do for children. The local park organizes free guided tours about birds, the Night of the Bat, landscapes and the seasons. Plants are grown in the nursery for later release in the instructional wild plant garden.
