On this thirsty walking day, we mainly thought of Dommelsch beer 😉. If you follow the course of the river southwards you will reach the town of Dommelen, where Jan van Deventer brewed his first beer. The Dommelsche Bierbrouwerij has existed since 1744, making it the oldest surviving brewery in the Netherlands.
