Neudenstein Castle (Slovene: Črni Grad) stands on a rock cone above the north bank of the Völkermarkt reservoir in the municipality of Völkermarkt. Because of its dark walls, the complex is also known as the "Black Castle". This is also what the Slovenian name of the castle refers to.
