A grand arc of glistening steel above the rushing waters of the River Goyt, the Millennium Walkway is a marvellous addition to any walk. Standing on stilts above the river, it allows walkers to experience the sandstone Torrs Gorge in a way that was previously impossible. It also provides a vital link that was previously missing in the long-distance Midshires Way.

Engineering Marvel:
The walkway itself is a remarkable feat of engineering, suspended high above the gorge. It provides a unique perspective of the Rivers Sett and Goyt.
It's a key part of the Midshires Way, a long-distance footpath, adding to its significance.
