Just a short walk as it was pretty nippy weather. Really nice woodland and waterfalls, will do a longer walk soon.

Free parking in the beginning, closre to Pott Shrigley village.

Parking is free at Teggs Nose Reservoir Car Park. There's room for about 10 cars or so. Was empty at 8am Saturday morning so perfect. Lovely walk first part is uphill but you are welcomed with the amazing dark forest.

This walk is cow free 😁

At Trentabank Car park there are toilets and can buy coffee

Amazing walk when the weather is great. The moors on top off Brown Knoll have beautifully maintained stone paths.

Parking at Barber Booth in Hope Valley is £4.75 all day 🙂 Be early to get parking spot.

Barber Booth parking is 4.75 all day and you only pay with card. There's space for a out 10+ cars all depending how they are parked. I arrived way before 8am on Saturday and there was only one car before me.

Jacob's ladder is amazing but unfortunately the clouds covering the top of Kinder made the walk

National Trust Longshaw is £5 for 4hrs or 7 for all day. Have a really lovely cafe and toilets, so perfect to start the walk.

At the end coming back and crossing the main road we rambled across the fields not following the path 😌

Red Lion has free parking SK6 8ED but you have to register your vehicle plate on the tablet in the pub. The pub is also dog friendly.



This walk in winter is very muddy and so bring wellies!

Really lovely walk. Great with a dog, but plenty of fields with sheep so please keep on lead.



Parking at Chatsworth House is 5 a day (Sundays close 6pm). Which is great and they got free toilets and coffee next to car park etc available without entering the house.

Really nice route with beautiful countryside scenery. Was ok for a hybrid bike not too rough surfaces. However, I had to lift the bike over couple gates that were not designed for bikes... not that there was a sign anywhere it's prohibited. So with heavier bike you might struggle.
