Nice place with narrow streets. In the center hardly parking.
Tourist not crowded, but there seems to be some cottages here. The rental cars in the driveways speak for it.

Take bus 212 from Port Soller to Fornalux and then start the hike.

Part of the well-known hiking trail GR 221 leads through the visually impressive Barranc de Biniaraix. In detail, this is an old hiking trail with an average hiking time of 4.5 to 5 hours. The descent hike begins at the picturesque Cúber reservoir and ends either in the village of Biniaraix or in the well-known tourist town of Sóller (population around 14,000). The reservoir is located between the highest mountain peaks of the Tramuntana mountains at an altitude of 750 meters and in the middle of a unique landscape. The reservoir is one of the most versatile starting points for excursions and hikes on the island. From the reservoir, tourists hike along a wide path along the lake shore and a short time later they come to a narrow forest path. A lot of rosemary and juniper grow on this in the undergrowth. After a slightly longer climb, tourists reach the iron cross "Creu de la Pau" on the "Coll de l'Ofre" at an altitude of 875 meters. Tourists should definitely linger here and enjoy the wonderful view of the reservoir and Puig Major (the highest peak in Mallorca).
