Kjøvdalsvatnet is a gorgeous lake nestled beneath the impressive mountain peaks of Kyrkjetaket and Kjøvskartinden. It features on the Romsdalstien long-distance route, while mountaineers bound for Kyrkjetaket's classic Østeggen (east ridge) may choose to approach along its south-eastern shore.
