Built in 1974, Vasstindbu is the highest cabin in Romsdal, at 1,190 metres (3,904 feet). This self-service cabin enjoys a superb situation on the ridge between Vasstindan and Kalvgjeltinden, surrounded by magnificent mountains. The sunsets are nothing short of legendary. There are only ten beds and its popularity means that you should book in advance during the high season.
