This lake, located in the Ofenerdiek district, offers beautiful walking paths - ideal for relaxing or running. There is a wild herb nature trail and other leisure activities such as a multifunctional field for sports, a beach volleyball facility and a climbing area. There are also various seating options available at Lake Swarte Moor and a beach area with lighting.

The area under the name “Swarte Moor” was mentioned as early as 1738 due to a flood. Even today, the water in the Swarte Moor Lake continues to rise regularly. The beautiful 1.3 km long circular path around the lake is ideal for cycling and walking. Ship model builders use the model boat dock. Beautiful lake with flowering meadow, playground, beach volleyball field, boules court and fitness equipment.
