Take the funicular to the Meraner Höhenweg. That was an experience. Then through this bizarre forest and on the hut a delicious Kaiserschmarrn. A great day. 👍

Take the cable car to the Meraner Höhenweg and end up hiking. Great hiking trail.

From here there are a few ways to continue hiking. Höhenweg, Taufenscharte with Mutspitze, Spronser Seen or Hochganghaus

Very nice panoramic trail with lots of places to stop and also recommended as a day tour. I'm up here with the basket lift and down again with the Texelbahn on Giggelberg. This is very practical for everyone who is traveling by bus.
