The Flauchersteg is one of 24 Munich Isar bridges. As the name suggests, it offers pedestrians and cyclists the opportunity to cross the Isar Canal and Isar in the Flaucher area with a great view. You can also descend to the Flaucher Islands from the bridge. It is over 100 years old, has a total length of 340 meters and, since the last total renovation in 2000/2001, has consisted of a steel construction covered with larch wood. In this way, the character of an originally wooden bridge is preserved to some extent.

A great boardwalk over the Isar. Only real possibility, without getting wet, on the Flaucher islands to come :).
