Beautiful vineyard slope near Sugiez

According to information from the region's winegrowers' organization, it is surprisingly one of the smallest wine-growing areas in Switzerland. Doesn't feel like it when you move in it.
The usual suspects such as Chasselas, Pinot Noir and Rosé du Vully are mainly grown. But there are also some specialties. So it's worth planning a visit to a winemaker on a tour... and some space in your backpack for a few bottles...

Very special grapes grow on this beautiful vineyard, they are of excellent quality: they are used to make wine that bears the only bicantonal AOC seal of protection in Switzerland (Fribourg and Vaud).

More of a walk than a hike, but the setting is magnificent and perfect for a little outing 😉
