The grottos are man-made caves. They were dug into the sandstone between 1916 and 1917 to defend the Swiss Mittelland during the First World War.Today you can simply explore the caves. Children in particular have fun exploring the grottos.

In the hand-dug hells and corridors, which are very interesting for children, there are also various fireplaces. Also on the hill further up there are various remnants from the First World War, also there various fire places. hp Don't forget the flashlight.
