The present-day chapel was built in 1888 in the neo-gothic style according to plans from the office of the Cologne diocesan architect Vincenz Statz, where probably his son Franz Statz was also involved shortly before his takeover of the architect's office. The small high-built three-axis hall church with a slightly drawn three-sided choir is vaulted with ribs. Noteworthy is the fully preserved neo-Gothic decor. The highlight is the wing altar created in 1896 by a master Caspar Weis, Frankfurt am Main, with abundant figurative decoration and wood reliefs with scenes from the saint legend of Anthony of Padua.
