The way there is relatively easy, e.g. to hike with this route komoot.de/tour/163156173/embed, but there should still be reasonable hiking shoes. The path is accompanied by the local goats. There is hardly any shade and a lot of wind.

Cala Bóquer is 2.7 kilometers from Port de Pollença. Its name, which goes back to Roman origins, refers to Pocchor, a very important place in the zone near Pollentia that was documented by Pliny (1st century BC).This impressive and wild sea inlet goes up to 300 meters inland and is protected by impressive steep walls made of limestone without vegetation. On its western side rises the Serra de Cavall Bernat with heights of 360 sea, which drops vertically into the sea and on the left side there is a small beach of pebbles and gravel covered with Posidonia.
This sea inlet, open to winds from the north-northwest, offers the best water and underwater conditions to anchor between Cap Formentor and Cala Tuent, the fishermen even pull their boats ashore here. The depth on the sandy bottom is between three meters at 150 meters from the coast and two meters at about 100 meters from the coast. Port de Pollença is 14.9 nautical miles away.
Getting here by car is easy, just follow the signs to Bóquer. Here you have to leave your car behind and continue on foot. The last 1.5 kilometers you walk between pine trees and two large rocks until you reach this wild environment.
These characteristics explain the medium number of visitors.

The path leads through changing vegetation. The barren soil offers little food supply. The hike leads through an interesting plant world.
