After a short steep climb, e.g. on this route komoot.de/tour/163158927/embed? you have a great view of the valley and the southern Penya del Rafalet. Most of the trail is paved. The last 400 meters the path is roughly paved and a little more strenuous to walk. You can buy small snacks in the monastery kitchen. Barbecuing and picnicking is also allowed on the premises.

In the figurative it was said that in the 14th century people saw a "strange" light on the summit. After looking they found a stone figure of Mary. When she was brought down to the town church, it became heavier with every step. You turned around and brought her back up. It is not known whether it became easier with every step. She was given a chapel at the top, and later the monastery with its rather massive defensive tower.

Flip flops inappropriate.
The view of the view is worth the effort.
