Trädgårdsföreningen is a beautiful 19th-century park, inspired by the famous botanical gardens in Greifswald and Berlin. The name "Trädgårdsföreningen" indicates that the park was once a society for the cultivation of horticulture. Today, the park belongs to the city of Gothenburg. In the Palm House, built in 1878, you can admire tropical plants. There are also other historic buildings, such as the 19th-century Rose Café and the Director's Villa, built in 1874. Large, well-kept lawns are interspersed.Admission to the park is free (except during concerts). Dogs are not allowed.

A great park with a lot to discover. As you stroll through, take your time to spot all the statues, works of art, blooming flowers and not-at-all-shy birds. In the middle is the large palm house.
