A picturesque district, which is apparently in fashion with tourists. It was quite busy here this Saturday morning. But also rightly so. Here you can shop and let time pass in cafes.

Here are numerous historical, but also newer ships from passenger ship to the warship (Mienensucher). You can stroll along or visit the ships.

Nice swimming lake with jetties

There is also a statue of the camera developer Hasselblad and an associated museum. The Kunsthalle is unfortunately a pretty ugly building - in Germany such ostentatious buildings were built primarily in the darkest years.

On the square stands an imposing fountain with five naked female sculptures, one more beautiful than the other. They should represent the five continents: Africa, America, Asia, Europe and Australia (Oceania). The beautiful breasts have done to me.

A nice park by the river

It is already a bit uphill on this bridge, but you have a great view over Gothenburg. I came by boat from Kiel and the bridge looks impressive.
