🚲✨ The Gießelhorster Kirchweg is one of the most atmospheric and historically rich cycle paths in Ammerland. It connects the village of Gießelhorst with the district town of Westerstede over a length of approx. 3.5 kilometers and offers you a nature experience that almost feels like a journey into the past.

🚲✨ The Gießelhorster Kirchweg begins in Westerstede in the area of Karl-Heinz-Ewert-Straße and leads you directly to Gießelhorst. As the path is quite narrow, the motto here particularly applies: “Consideration makes paths wide” – a friendly ring when meeting oncoming traffic is part of it.
