The Paper Island, officially known as Christiansholm, is being transformed from a former industrial area in Copenhagen's inner harbor into a new, vibrant city district. The newly built island has a central location opposite the Drama Theater and the Opera House and is currently undergoing a transformation, with the old paper warehouses being replaced by a mix of housing, culture, food markets and recreational areas. It is home to the most expensive apartment in Denmark.
