The Administrative Palace, built between 1905 and 1907 in the Hungarian Art Nouveau style according to designs by Marcell Komor and Dezső Jakab, originally served as the town hall. Today it houses the Mureș County Prefecture and the County Council. The building's sixty-meter-high tower is one of the city's landmarks.
