Even the architecture of the entrance area inspires. The exhibits from different countries and continents as well as eras are fantastic. A visit is required.

Wonderful architecture - the glass roof by Norman Foster is astonishing. The exhibits relating to the history of the people are also extremely attractive, if not at least controversial (Parthenon Temple). Very nice building and an incredibly versatile exhibition. In preparation, the podcast by former director Neil MacGregor (bbc.co.uk/ahistoryoftheworld/about/british-museum-objects/) is highly recommended. Allow enough time for the visit and then double it again.
