In Max Reger Park stands the Max Reger Memorial, created in 1957 by Weiden sculptor Josef Gollwitzer, a mighty granite block modeled on organ pipes, dedicated to the composer who lived in Weiden with his parents from 1874 to 1901, with interruptions.
In the summer months, the "Weiden Summer Serenades" are held in Max Reger Park.
