Linn Castle is a well-preserved moat castle from the late Middle Ages. A classical fortress surrounded by a complex of fortifications, a second wall, and landscaped gardens, which has been added over the centuries, invites you to linger and explore. A nice destination!Nearby restaurants, especially at the outermost castle gate / museum highly recommended restaurant, refuel before it goes on.On some days there are also medieval markets and festivals. When viewed from the outside, the museum cafe is hardly noticeable. You sit quite well - and in the courtyard there are also some quiet and cozy places. There is a delicious cake selection and a few hearty snacks and a prize-winning museum beer.
I can especially recommend the museum sundae - with fresh strawberries.
