Although the Hercules Columns are the figurehead on some hiking maps in the area, you mostly move away from the tourist streams to reach the bizarre rock towers.
Fortunately, for forest trail hikers, they are right on the edge of the path.

If you are looking for the rock that is on the hiking map on the front, it is just right at the herkulessäule.

Otherwise, it should be mentioned that around the Herkulessäulen it is not overcrowded touristy.

Highlight in Bielatal - awesome climbing possibilities but also very suitable for hikers with dogs. When descent direction pulpit view - Attention a short ladder a bit tricky for dogs - my 2 wanted to be worn shortly :-) but is feasible with about 28kg dogs! remaining track very good for dog & owner

The name of the columns derives from the pillars of Heracles. A variety of climbing routes make the climber's heart beat faster.

The last highlight is the Herkulessäulen with the subsequent descent.
The prehistoric panorama, what you get through the upstanding columns is very beautiful, in addition to the stone stunt through the pillared gorge in Bielatal then forms a great conclusion.

Whimsical rock world, every step opens new perspectives. Still, luckily, don't get crowded.

The Hercules columns are a must on a hike in the Bielatal. Imposing rock pillars in the middle of green forests. Simply beautiful and with a bit of luck, you can watch the climbers "at work".
