The "Old Svinesund Bridge" is an arched bridge spanning the Svinesund strait between Norway and Sweden. It is still in use, although it does not carry heavy trucks. The bridge was built between 1939 and 1946 and opened on June 15, 1946, before being renamed after the opening of the new Svinesund Bridge in 2005.
