You need a low gear here and lots of persistence, but it does pay off with an amazing view of the Ceriog Valley and descent down to Chirk Castle

Not quite Hardknott-Pass-level-of-difficulty, but the steepness is considerable on a relatively decent surface (although in the wet I'd definitely think twice).
