A bronze bust of Gheorghe Șincai was erected in front of the general school bearing his name in 2015. The pedestal bears the inscription: "GHEORGHE ȘINCAI, 1754 to 1816, luminary of the Transylvanian School, founder of Romanian education in Transylvania." A bust of Iosif Vulcan, whose family originally came from Șinca Veche, was erected in 2021. The pedestal reads: "IOSIF VULCAN, 1841 to 1907, famous scholar, father of Romanian theater in Transylvania, poet, prose writer, publicist, member of the Romanian Academy."
